Warlords of Draenor kommt nächsten Monat auf den Markt und wird so einiges in World of Warcraft umkrempeln. Dies betrifft unter anderem auch die Klassen, denn eine neue Erweiterung bietet die perfekte Voraussetzung, auch größere Veränderungen ins Spiel zu implementieren. So wird der Fähigkeitensquish mit Warlords of Draenor kommen und eure Aktionsleisten etwas aufräumen. Damit auch nach diesem Squish alle Klassen im PvE und PvP spielbar sind, haben die Entwickler während der Betaphase bereits einige Male an den Zahlen gedreht. Dadurch wurden die Heilungen und auch der ausgeteilte Schaden laufend angepasst.
Wie Game Designer Chadd ‚Celestalon‘ Nervig nun im offiziellen WoW-Forum bekannt gab, wurden via Hotfix nun weitere Anpassungen an den Schadensklassen vorgenommen. Diese wurden, wie er erklärte, nicht mit einem neuen Build implementiert, weswegen diese Änderungen noch nicht von Dataminern gefunden werden konnten. Unter anderem wurde der Arkanmagier etwas abgeschwächt, die anderen beiden Spezialisierungen jedoch etwas verstärkt. Nachfolgend findet ihr alle Anpassungen.
Hotfix bringt Anpassungen am Schaden
As you may have noticed, we don't patch note damage/healing tuning number changes. Normally, datamining catches most of these changes, so theorycrafters know when to retest things. They only are able to do this when we make new builds. However, we've hotfixed some more tuning changes in, since the last beta build. The client should reflect these changes in tooltips, however datamining likely will not. As such, I'm providing that info here. Once we go live tomorrow, we'll use the normal hotfix blog for this sort of thing.
Rogue
Assassin’s Resolve now increases damage by 10% (down from 15%).
Ambush damage increased by 13%.
Backstab damage increased by 13%.
Warrior
Raging Blow damage reduced by 10%.
Wild Strike damage reduced by 8%.
Devastate damage increased by 5%.
Revenge damage increased by 5%.
Shield Slam damage increased by 5%.
Death Knight
Obliterate damage increased by 8%.
Death Coil damage reduced by 5%.
Scourge Strike damage reduced by 5%.
Festering Strike damage reduced by 5%.
Blood Boil damage increased by 20%.
Death Strike damage increased by 20%.
Monk
Rising Sun Kick damage increased by 10%.
Fists of Fury damage increased by 10%.
Chi Explosion (Brewmaster) damage reduced by 30%.
Mage
Arcane Blast damage reduced by 5%.
Arcane Barrage damage reduced by 5%.
Arcane Missiles damage reduced by 5%.
Supernova damage reduced by 15%.
Fireball damage increased by 5%.
Frostfire Bolt damage increased by 5%.
Inferno Blast damage increased by 5%.
Pyroblast damage increased by 5%.
